The team at Buffalo Media Works is proud to announce that we’ve been selected as one of six awardees of a local Business Catalyst Program, developed in a partnership between First Niagara Bank and the University at Buffalo’s Office of Economic Development (OED).

The business catalyst grants, totaling $100,000, have been awarded with the intention of enhancing business and economic opportunity in the neighborhoods in and around the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

“First Niagara is proud to enhance and accelerate the development of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and support the innovation and growth taking place there,” said Buford Sears, First Niagara Regional President, Western New York. “There is a renaissance taking place in Western New York, and we recognize the importance of creating a downtown where people can live and work.”

Buffalo Media Works, headquartered on Chippewa Street in downtown Buffalo, was one of the selectees identified as a potential high-growth company whose success will help strengthen the medical campus community and the surrounding downtown corridor.

Owner Brian Maher expressed his gratitude for the nod of support from the local community, which will enable our brand focused on historical photography and design, Historic Pictoric, to expand its marketing footprint and better reach a national audience.
