Where We Began

Our company began in the place we know best, our hometown of Buffalo, NY. Drawing on our large catalog of historic images, we began restoring turn-of-the-century photographs of downtown Buffalo and reaching out to the community. The response was motivating. In this small Rust Belt city, residents were astounded by the photographs of early Buffalo, displaying the burgeoning beginnings of what was for a time one of the wealthiest cities in America.

We quickly understood the importance of connecting people with their own history, enabling them to visualize and thus better understand where this place is coming from. We expanded our product offerings to include prints of vintage posters, maps and advertisements, design speaking directly to the people of past generations.

We’ve made it our mission to make what is old, new again; to reinvent it in a way that makes history relevant and accessible to modern life.
